“A Will and A Way” Autobiography of Anthony Sabga

Researched and compiled by Bridget Brereton and Raymond Ramcharitar

Tony Sabga’s autobiography, published by ANSA McAL, is a commemoration of the lives and adventures of those bold and enterprising men and women from the Middle East who came to Trinidad and Tobago. They braved the dangers of the ocean, the hostilities of a new environment and the privations of a residence on a distant coast to procure a better way of life for themselves and their families. In tracing the history of Tony Sabga’s life, “A Will and a Way” describes of the growth of the Arab community in the Caribbean who, amidst difficult circumstances, were able to achieve a success, recognition and happiness.
